Massage
For thousands of years the art of massaging has been used to prevent and cure disease in the musculo-skeletal system. The power of healing using the hands has existed for as long as mankind. From the physiological point of view, massage and the healing touch support the efficiency of the blood and lymph systems; the haemoglobin potential increases and the transport of oxygen in the blood becomes more
effective. Oxygen helps to speed up the recovery process when body tissue becomes damaged and it increases the process of lactic acid breakdown (a waste product of muscle exertion). Moreover the healing touch reduces blood pressure and slows down the heart rate; it calms the nervous system helping to release tension and gives a feeling of well-being and relaxation.

Fullbody Massage:
My full body massage is based on classical massage, one of the most well-known and most widely-used massage forms. The skin, subcutaneous tissue and muscles are warmed, kneaded and relaxed through the various techniques used. Massage improves all of the functions of the skin, blood flow through the muscles improves and therefore the transport of waste products from the muscle improves and muscle tone is brought back to normal. Blood circulation, especially the venous blood return is stimulated which has a positive outcome for the lymphsystem.
According to the needs of my clients I use hot or cold packs. Where necessary I stimulate acupressure points and use elements from movement therapy. I work with pure essential oils, which can either have an invigorating, calming or balancing effect. When choosing the oils I allow myself to be inspired by my clients’ wishes and momentary mood.

Indications for full-body massage:
  • Tension
  • Disease in the musculo-skeletal system
  • Knots in muscle tissue (e.g. after intensive sport training)
  • Headaches
  • Tense back and neck muscles
  • Limited movement (e.g. due to tense or shortened muscles)
Intense back and neck massage:
An intense back and neck massage feels very calming and relaxing especially because our back and neck muscles are often strained due to bad posture or sitting for long periods of time.

Foot Reflexology:
All our organs, muscles and bodily functions are found in corresponding zones on the feet. Through a pressure massage on the appropriate points on the feet the body can be supported in its own healing process. A regular foot massage can help build up the immune system and bring the whole body back into harmony again. It has been proven to be very helpful for the following indications:
  • Rheumatic diseases (joint achiness)
  • Tension
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Menstruation pain
  • Digestive problems
  • Chronic breathing problems and asthma
  • Blood circulation problems
Very effective on children with problems such as bronchitis, asthma, bed-wetting
